COSMETIC TREATMENTS
Delya offers the most specialized and extensive range of beauty, aesthetics and medical solutions
The results of non-surgical cosmetic treatments such as diode lasers, IPL (Intense Pulsed Light), Hydrafacial machines, Q-switched laser systems, slimming machines, HIFU machines and more are impressive. Non-surgical cosmetic treatments are more popular than ever, and Delya ( delyava.com ) offers a full range of technologies and treatments covering a wide range of cosmetic and aesthetic needs.
Hair Removal
The Delya Diode Laser System utilizes the 808nm diode laser technology, which has become a proven means of permanently and effectively reducing hair. Our clients benefit from the power of the diode laser and have a high level of patient satisfaction.
Tattoo Removal
Tattoo removal treatments using the Q-Switched ND: YAG laser system can safely and effectively remove annoying dark and multi-colored tattoos. The system ensures control of uniform energy delivery and the highest level of safety.
Vascular Lesions
Regarding the effectiveness of IPL in the treatment of vascular lesions, the IPL system utilizes the principle of selective photothermolysis, which has been proven to be effective in the treatment of a wide range of vascular lesions, and one of the main advantages of the IPL technology is that it does not result in the development of purpura after the procedure, which greatly reduces the recovery time after the procedure.
Pigmentation
Delya’s light therapy removes blemishes as well as hyperpigmentation. Hyperpigmented lesions are usually areas of increased melanocytes caused by sun exposure, the natural aging process, or congenital factors. Intense Pulsed Light (IPL), which targets melanin, is effective in treating benign lesions and removing them.
Acne Scar
The CO2 Fractional Laser creates a number of small holes in the skin through the epidermis to the dermis. The width, depth and density of the holes can be controlled and adjusted. These holes encourage the production of new collagen, fill in scars, and revitalize the skin, making it smoother.
Skin Rejuvenation
IPL Skin Rejuvenation. Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) is a skin treatment that uses intense pulsed light or photodynamic therapy to treat dermatologic conditions and eliminate the effects of photoaging, such as wrinkles, blemishes, and texture problems.
Facial Treatment
Laser skin resurfacing is a procedure that uses lasers to remove layers of skin to optimize the appearance of the skin or to treat minor facial imperfections. The most common type of laser used for resurfacing is carbon dioxide (CO2): this type of laser is used to treat wrinkles, scars, warts and other conditions. 808nm diode lasers are used for spider vein removal. There is also the HIFU treatment.
Weight Loss
Cryolipolysis treatment is a non-invasive procedure that utilizes a targeted cooling process to kill subcutaneous fat cells, freezing them to the point where they can be eliminated. Only the fat cells are frozen. Your healthy skin cells remain in good condition.
Lasers produce invisible light energy spanning hundreds to thousands of nanometers (a nanometer is one billionth of a meter). Lasers are capable of treating all types of skin problems, from acne, rosacea, eczema, hyperpigmentation, to skin renewal problems, and even hair removal and tattoo removal. There is no single laser that can be used in all cases. I adjust the wavelength of the laser according to the condition of the patient’s skin – the longer the wavelength, the deeper the laser penetrates the skin.
There are two types of lasers. Non-ablative lasers (such as ND: YAG, picosecond, and diode lasers) are more commonly used in younger skin to even out skin tone, smooth roughness, treat acne scars, minimize enlarged pores and superficial pigmentation, and reduce fine lines. Peeling lasers (such as those used for segmental skin resurfacing), on the other hand, are better suited for those in their 40s and older, who need more intense skin tightening and lifting effects and want to treat deep wrinkles.
Cosmetic Treatment Evaluation:
When can I start laser treatments?
People who suffer from acne at around the age of 16 are able to start undergoing this type of treatment. The signs of aging become more visible from your 20s onwards, so preventative measures are preferable to reactive ones. Treatments should be initiated before problems such as fine lines, enlarged pores, uneven skin tone, dullness and roughness become more prominent and difficult to change.
What will I see after the first session and at the end of the session?
Typically, after your first treatment, your skin tone will be more even, dull areas will be slightly reduced and your overall complexion will be brighter. By the end of the treatment, your pores, acne scars and dark spots will be minimized, oil production will be controlled and your skin will be more radiant.
Is it too late to use the laser?
This is not the case. The oldest patient in our clientele is 81 years old and she has only been a client of mine since she was 67 years old. Hyperpigmentation was her biggest concern, so she started using lasers to treat her melasma and superficial sun spots. All of the cosmetic procedures they performed did not cause major changes to her face. Today her skin is brighter and more even, with fewer wrinkles.
Will it make my skin thinner?
This is a misconception. In fact, laser treatments stimulate your skin to produce more collagen, resulting in healthier, more elastic skin.
How is pain and discomfort handled?
For patients undergoing intense laser treatments, our clients apply a topical anesthetic cream. Sometimes, cold compresses are used to help reduce discomfort, but most laser treatments do not usually require any form of anesthesia.
Do I really have to avoid outdoor activities or sunlight after laser treatment?
Yes, and this is even more important if you have just completed a topical skin resurfacing laser treatment. Topical Skin Resurfacing Laser Treatment deals with more severe skin damage and wrinkles by removing tiny columns of skin without affecting the surrounding tissues. This encourages the body’s natural healing process to produce new, healthy collagen to replace the removed skin columns. This ablative treatment can make the skin especially fragile, so it is highly recommended that you avoid swimming, diving, and overexposure to the sun for at least two weeks.
Are Laser Facials Beneficial to You?
Acne, sun damage and aging can all show up on your face – scars, blemishes, fine lines and wrinkles. However, thanks to laser skin resurfacing, you are able to have a younger, healthier appearance. It removes excess skin precisely, layer by layer.
This procedure is not suitable for everyone. You need to be in good condition. Before deciding to undergo laser treatment, consult a cosmetic surgeon and perform a self-assessment. The doctor will perform a physical examination; you will be required to provide a background check on your family medical history and other relevant information to ensure that you are eligible so that you can avoid unwanted conditions.
Scar Removal Procedure
To give you a general idea of the process, here is an example of what will be done by your doctor:
- The area around the scar will be cleaned and an anesthetic cream or local anesthesia will be applied.
- If the scar is on your face, protective eyewear will be required.
- A wet gauze or towel will be placed near the scar area to absorb the laser pulse.
- The laser will pass through the scar tissue. Occasionally, a water solution or cooling saline will be used.
- Once the treatment is complete, an ointment will be applied and then the treatment area will be covered with a clean dressing.
Your doctor may recommend applying a moisturizing lotion to the treatment area twice a day. Do not wear makeup until the redness has subsided.
The field of cosmetic laser and light treatment is very big and continues to grow. It’s of utmost importance if you are working in this industry, to keep up to date with the latest technology in order to decide if you are offering your clients the best treatment possible. It is also worth considering if you want to use an external energy measurement device to monitor the actual output of your laser or IPL source.
